Hey everyone. An old friend of mine mentioned this site to me, I don't know his handle on here though. I've got a 1988 sport coupe with the 305 TBI. The engine is a GM Replacement with about 19,XXX miles on it, 118,XXX on the rest of the car (the previous owner blew the original at 96,XXX). My original plans were to build up the 305, see how much I could get out of it, but now I've been talked into a 383. Ill still probably throw at least a cam into the 305 though. Put in an exhaust cutout about a month ago...i havent put the cap on it yet. I'm gunna need lots of help and advice because I don't know much about cars yet.

Welcome to the forum. A 383 would be a great choice.
