HI, I just took a look and see no forum section devoted to upcoming vehicles/news. Does anyone have info about the Z06 engine with 7 liters being offered in the Camaro eventually? I am politely asking for actual knowledge, not hopes, wishes or other thoughts. Anyone actually have info about this? thnx!

at this point in time there will not be a ls7 in the new camaro, but if you wanted it done im sure if you contact gm performance parts it can be arranged

 

SilverBullet, Thnx for tip. Nothing found there except interesting 426 h.p. rating for the 6.2. Alih, ........... What is your source for saying no LS7, please? I am asking factory stock, not rebuild questions.

 

the source is that they have not released the info. its similar to saying : will they give a TT NISMO motor for the new camaro? well, no. because nobody has mentioned it. we can speculate, we can talk about likelihood, and we can talk about the logistics of the swap for those interesting in buying an ls3 car and changing the motor. but for now, no GM exec has mentioned the ls7 in the camaro and therefore we must assume its not happening.... as of yet....

 

there was a concept at sema i saw, a red camaro with a ls7, but i doubt you will see it.gm dealerships have confirmed that they will warranty and install aftermarket performance parts like turbo and superchargers.
