I JUST BOUGHT A 1989 RS CAMARO WITH A 2.8 V6 IN IT. I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY PERFORMANCE MODS THAT I CAN DO TO THE 2.8. ARE THEIR ANY CAMS, LIFTERS,HEADERS, THOTTLEBODIES, TUNERS, CHIPS, COLD AIR INTAKES OR INTAKE MANIFOLDS? ANY INFO YOU GUYS CAN GIVE ME WOULD REALLY HELP ME OUT. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP AND TIME.

to be honest with you, you can do all those things, as long as u wanna pay.

 

don't waste your money. your not gonna be satisfied with the outcome. the 2.8 was built for fuel economy. it just doesn't have enough cubic inches to generate very much horsepower. if your heart it is set on it ... buy a nitrous kit and keep it tuned up. on second thought people told me not to waste my time with a 305 and i did it anyway. go to www.summitracing.com they have a whole line of performance parts for the 2.8 liter engine. four barrel intake, cam , headers ... but i still think you should just spray it. sick
