Newbie Intro...
Hi All,
Great forum you have here, nicely laid out and kudos to all the helpful participants. Let me get this out of the way by saying I'm coming over from the Ford world (prefer not to say dark side, over used) but an ex-owner of an '03 Cobra Convertible. Unfortunately, it had an early retirement otherwise I'd probably still have it as it was a second car that only had 7K miles or so on it...
BTW: As my user name indicates, I've always liked all cars and models, not a Hater of any type and have always had a soft spot for the Camaros.
Now after much debate and searching, I've pretty much settled on a 2001 Z28, SS, SLP model w/T-tops. Aside from being a very nice car (and 6-spd.) which was a must, it only has 7K miles on it which is a big plus...
I have not looked at it yet, sched. to on Sunday and wondering if there is anything in particular I should be aware of or look for while checking it over and hopefully test driving? Are there any known issues that I should be on the look-out for?
Thanks in advance for any helpful tips or advice.
