If you really think you want to go V8, then fix this car up and sell it, buy a V8 car.

thats kind of what i was thinking. Prob just fix it up and sell it to get some money for a diesel. Im more of a diesel truck guy but Im sure this Maro will grow on me and my wife.

Depends on what you're after. Want a project? Keep this car and make it exactly what you want. Want a fast car right now? Find a way to get a V8.

hey don't knock it, i've seen some pretty dang quick diesel cars.

it would be one of a kind, and fast depending.

very true, ive seen a 6.2l in i think a 3rd gen.

I agree it would be. I work as a mechanic with the Army at Camp Atterbury so im around 6.2s and 6.5s all day along with some detroits and cummins.

I work for SAIC were down there every now an then.

Hey! Retired USAF flightline ramp-rat here. Spend much time in Speedway at the track, or at ORP on the strip?

Except for the occasional 'honey do', that's usually where I'll be.
