Default newbee

Hello; I am a newbee to the camaro world. My wife and I have decided to purchase a 3rd gen. camaro and we are looking for info on what to look for while checking them out. We are looking for a 8 cylinder teetops or conv. with little to no body rot if that's posible up here in Western MA. I have been wrenching for years but not on camaro's. I have rebuilt a 87 Monte SS and own older CJ Jeeps (with small block chevy power). My wife wants a sporty muscle car this time and would like a camaro. Any input will help in our quest. Where do I look for rot, any suspension issues to look for ect. I have not played with anything with TPI is that a reliable and easy to work with system? I am an old Qjet guy but I need to come out of the dark ages. Thanks Old Timer

I would say look in the same trouble areas as a monte carlo..rear quarters, seam welds, etc.

TPI is a very reliable and simple system. Nothing to be afraid of
