Looking for more info on z27 ls3 car can anyone some people say that only came with ab10 bolt and if you look at options it could be ordered with a 12 bolt

 

Look at the RPO decal listing the items born with at manufacture.
Look for G80 - Limited slip; GU8 would be 3.42:1 installed ratio; LS3 would be engine model.

 

what i found said the same 10 bolt posi G80 ,but weather it was an option ,right hear there is a thread that says the 12 bolt went out in 1970 ,an the 10 bolt 8.5 inch was in that wich is to be pretty rare if its all in one piece with the 396 ,but the answer is no from what i can see

 

I talk to a friend that help me do so research that works for gm we are at the 80% mark that you could order the car with a pos track this car has original motor that we no for a fact trans no still 4 speed the car is a 1971 ss fisher plate z27 ls3 did some more digging and found some of the original paint that matches paint code on fisher tag

 

12 bolt was not longer an option for 1971 ,but the 10 bolt was still a strong rearend 8,5in
