Default New Owner of a Project Car-75 Camaro

Recently my brother-in-law passed away and I purchased his 75 camaro from my sister. He owned the car for 30 years and was working on the restoration for a very long time. The car has good paint and a very strong motor. The interior needs completely redone. I want to finish this car up for Gary which is why I joined this forum. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions and need some advice along the way. I'm going to pick the car up this weekend and try to inventory the interior parts. Just wanted to stop in and say hey and introduce myself. Name is Chris, I'm in Dayton, Ohio.

Welcome Aboard ! looks like you have a decent car to start with. Do you have any plans for the car ,?:There is quite a bit of help at this site .Nasty Z-28 is another one as well. I have a 1979 Z-28 RS Pro Touring car myself.

I plan on keeping it for occasional car shows, cruising around town etc.. The motor is a 350 out of a chevelle, bored .30 over. I plan on doing a budget build, Body and frame is solid, no rust that I could see. Most of that work was already done. It needs electric fans installed, new dash pad, instrument cluster looks good, Needs new front seats, rears need new upholstery, headliner needs done, etc.. After I get it driveable, I might start doing some other upgrades like suspension etc.

Welcome to the forum. Got a 68', but ever since I've been on this forum, the third gen has been drawing me to have interest, especially the 75'. As you move forward to replace parts, try and keep some of the original parts in storage. Will be handy in the future if you decide to return to original or even sell original parts. Some one trash is another's gold mine.
