Welcome, The TBI 305/5 speed is a nice setup and should be very dependable. Pictures would be nice. I use photobucket.com then cut and paste the IMG text.

heres how I currently looks. Long story short. A mate bought the car to do a restoration on. Lost interests, Bought a race car, and the RS has been sitting there ever since( roughly 4 years). I was wanting to build a kit car but at 6'4 and 146 Kgs (and built like a built out house) I wouldn't have fitted in an elfin or anything else.

So we came to an agreement on price and I now own the car. It comes to me the weekend after the easter break. A full thread will be done and photos taken along the way.

Thanks for the welcome all. Its appreciated. More photos and progress to come!

Well lets just say wifey thinks its getting a "refresh" back to stock.........However ported heads, oversized 2.02 and 1.60 double valve springs, stage 2 cam, gilmer drive, TPI corvette injection + computer and long tune headers, should give it a bit more "pep" in its "step". aiming to be able to have a fun road car that I can do the occasional track with.

yes I am sure of that I think those engines are as good as the Boss 302 ,yes stock looks are great for resale, an if you do true duals man the power will feel so much more cant wait to see it an hear it ,cool ,sometimes I think I should have found a 85to 92 Camaro for my 406 ,but it is what it is ,looking to get it back on the road in afew months with the 95,yes the cars you can put chip that gets 50hp .some of the 4th gens were used as police cars in then 90s,an only the police good get the chip till later ,now it can be had for $200.00 chip computer the same
