Default New owner, aftermarket question.

Hey guys, I just bought a 2012 Camaro 2SS yesterday. It’s not as loud as I thought it would be. It’s completely stock, so I have a lot of work I want to do with it. I love the sound an X pipe gives to most cars, including the Camaro. I 100% want to get an x pipe, but my question is (and sorry for my lack of mechanic knowledge) but is an x pipe considered the exhaust? Or can you have an x pipe and add an aftermarket exhaust to it. For example (X pipe + Borla exhaust) any explanation would be appreciated

Welcome to the club.
You might look for an 'X-pipe' equipped exhaust kit from the catalytic convertor back.
Most all exhaust kits are allowed because anything goes after the cat.
