For some reason I cannot open a person's photos that they have posted. I am getting a message saying I am not authorized to do so. Can I get some help on this issue

Welcome bartman. You needed to have a post count of 3 till you get full access to stuff.
Since you now have 4, I presume you weren't quite there at the time that you tried, but you are now.
Try again and see if you can see what you wanted to see.
