Default New. Looking for help. Z28 or ss

Hello! I'm trying to find a camaro for my first car. I want a z28 or ss. I like the earlier front end better, but want a fast car. I heard there is a 120 mph governor on these cars. Is that true? What's the top speed of the v8 fourth gens without the governor? Also what's the 0-60 time?

Thanks,

Connor15

Unless your really responsible, a v8 4th gen is a really fast car. Lt1 and ls1. It it were me, I would get a v6. Alot of pep and still fun to drive. Welcome!

Put on your big boy pants and get the V8 model like I did when I was 17. The 4th gen V8 models will run 13 to 14 second 1/4 mile times and 5 second 0-60 times.

I like this post! I got my v8 when I was 15.. I just don't want to hear about another kid in the hospital for going 150 on the interstate and losing control. Lol

Welcome to the forum. Get a v6. I wouldnt say this except I had a 3000gt v6 when I was 16, as the n/a model made close to the same power a v6 Camaro does and it was more then good enough. I would suggest tryin to find a v6 model with th rs sport package, it looks good and has t-tops. My 2002 z28 gets like 12-16 mpg city depending how I drive, you will get better then that with the v6.
