the button isnt stuck in and i didnt see it until now, its not a major problem just annoying. it remembers the trip with ignition on but after cranking the engine it resets the trip, plus all the dials reset ( move up and down or is this normal??) i dunno if it has a weak battery or something as it still starts up fine but cant nderstand the dash reset

I had a '91 and mine didnt do that. I know u have a different year and all but I wonder if that is the cluster. I do believe that the cluster is a complete unit that plugs in.

i know that many cars will do a full sweep of all gauges at startup. Also they will run the idiot lights. Probably nothing to worry about, but keep an eye on it. Good luck with everything and welcome to the forums.
