Default New guy wants to buy a 96 Camaro.

Hello to all. I am considering a 1996 3.4 SFI V6 Camaro as my next project car.
I want to get some help from people who really know these cars. so I will leave a link
to the car here, and if you want to check it out and offer some info about this car it
will be greatly appreciated. I am in the Republic of Georgia, so the website is local.
Thanks in advance for any and all input. Link to car>> https://www.myauto.ge/en/pr/48317129...996-petrol-geo

Well if it is a 1996 it would be a 3800. GMs last years for the 3.4 was 1995. It also listed in the text of the add it was a 1994. A 1994 would have a 3.4. I am not sure what options you have but I would wait for the 3800, it is a larger, more powerful engine and it gets better fuel mileage on the highway. These 3.4's where only made 3 years and only used in Camaros so parts can be hard to find. The 3800 changed very little over its 6 years run in the camaro and also shares a lot of parts with the front wheel drive 3800 produced from 1995- 2009.

Good luck

Thanks a lot.. This is why I came here. I did not see that in the text when I did my google translate. I knew something about the 1996 in the title was off. I think I'll proceed with caution on this Camaro. I would never find parts for it here in Georgia. Who knows, if this guy want to take my Galant for it, I might go for it. I'll keep the forum up to date. Thanks again.
