Tanks for the ups on the Dart. I spent a lot of time on that.
Plan on taking it out for the first drive in a few weeks.

Very nice GTS - right color of blue
True, no blasting - '68 is the right year of 1st Gen Camaros.
And the truth is, I used to own one - Rosie - 11.90/115 in 1/4 mile - 350/PG/4.11.
When I was racing her, she brought home $20K in prize money in the six years of racing her.
Life happened, so she went to a good home in Wilmington NC.

thanks todays tires are not like old days when you could say yes I got 60s all the way around or 50s in back ,I guess I would have to go down in front an up in the back to get an inch or got up to 18inch wheel ,I thought I had posted this on another thread lol thanks though,nice ride there,nothing like the old heavy metal ,but we take what we can get I was close to a 74 Drag street 2 years ago ,
I've got 60's all the way around on the Dart but Run staggered.. 215's in the front 235 in the back. Can't go bigger in back with out relocating the leafs.What kind of ride height adjustments can you do on modern Camaros?

It was nice whipping BBC's with SBC & 'Glide.
And this is my thoughts of '68 1st Gen:
Sixty-seven's are a good attempt and a good learning platform - a doable year.
Sixty-eight's are perfect design, GM got it correct. Look at the body at any angle and compared to a female body nice shape - the rear quarters are nice well-rounded hips, a slim waist line, and powerful upper body - any one of James Bond women, ***** Galore comes to mind, Ann Margaret, Raquel Welch - exquisitely shaped for the time period of design.
Sixty-nine's with the gills looks like cellulite along with the flat wheel opening look like extra weight.
And as far as the new design, Fifth and Sixth Generation, GM chose the sixty-nine year because they knew there was no improvement by choosing the sixty-eight, the perfect year.......................LMAO.
