New Guy, New Ride
Thought I would stop and introduce myself. My name is Ben, and I live in the beautiful B.C. interior in Kelowna. I've always loved wrenching, and one of my first vehicles was a 1980 Formula WS6.
Been involved in diesel trucks lately, working on those. I have a 1993 2500HD RC/LB five speed. Turned the old Detroit up to well over 215 at the wheels and around 450 lbs of torque at the rubber to road intersection. Just blew the headgasket in that truck. Turns out going from 8 lbs of boost to 22+ on a stock engine, plus water/methanol and more fuel tends to hurry along the dying process.
Last Saturday picked up my first Camaro from a local auction. No pics yet, as I have been to busy driving it.

2002 35th Anniversary Camaro
T-tops, Monsoon sound
Five speed, 3.8 liter, 3.42's
Everything power but the seats
A/C (a must for around here)
Burgundy
80,000 miles.
It's an American imported car, but I have always prefered miles to kilometers on the speedo.
The plan is to hit the dyno hopefully this week and see what she puts down in stock form. Then plugs and wires, and K&N with some trimming on the airbox. Hopefully in a few weeks, get some true dual exhaust on there. And then see what happens. I like to customize my vehicles, and have a spare turbo sitting on the shelf. In a year or two, a V8 will be going in, but for now I figure to have fun with this sixer.
