Default New guy from Colorado with a stolen Z28

OK so the car isn't stolen but alot of peoplethink I stole it from the original owner for the price I paid.

I am 26 years old and am living in Thornton, CO.
This is my first Camaro and I am already in love with it, my other car is a 95 Cobra and thisLS1 makes that thing seem like it is running on 4 cylinders.
Don't get me wrong I love my Cobra and have big plans for it but when I ran into this deal I just couldn't pass it up.

So heres my story,
I manage a Storage facility and the guy who was storing this car decided to call me one day and ask about his rent, after talking with him for awhile he asked what would happen if he let his car go up for auction...I was thinking he was talking about these junk cars we have parked there butthen he mentioned the red Z28. When I asked him why he would even consider it,
he explained that the car wouldn't start and has electrical problems. Knowing alot about cars I told him I would buy it from him (keep in mind I'm shocked at the thought he would even consider letting this car go to auction).
Hewas excited that I was interested but he didn't know what to charge me, I offered him $2500 just for the hell of it and he accepted, now I know what the car is worth...especially the Convertible Z28 and I stole this car for that price.

So after we made the deal he handed me the keys and I immediately went over to the car after he left and began the simple process of changing out the battery since it was sitting for 6 months and wouldn't even try to start even with a jump.
After doing that and changing a few fluids I started it and it didn't even hesitate to just fire right up and ran perfect, I then realized he must have been talking about the lights not coming on in the dash so I checked the fuse, replaced it and tried it again but it blew once more...Obviously a short somewhere so I started with the tail lights, found a wire that was pinched and grounding itself. After fixing that problem everything worked like new.
Oh did I mention this car only has 61,000 miles on it.
I am really excited to have ran into this deal and my friends all hate me nowknowing how much I paid for it.

I have been part of many forums and have owned a 93Mark VIII, 69 Pontiac Custom S and presently own the 95 Cobra and now this baby :P oh man my fiancé hates me now.

The only pic I have right now is from a friends phone, it is alot cleaner tonight since I just spent 4 hours washing and waxing it at work, will have alot more pics up soon.

Thanks for the great site,
Emmitt

Thanks guys I will get more pics up soon, got audited today so that really screwed with my free time.

Already spent 3 hours reading up on this forum and I gotta say I have already learned alot, im tempted to give up the Cobra and invest in this car.
Only one thing I hate already is the fact the previous owner thought he would go with some truck sized 225/60/16 Potenza RE92's. I mean they are brand new so im going to just trade them in towardsat least some 245/50/16's.
