Hi i have a 82 camaro 305. It has 88K miles on it and i would like to know some stuff. First This is what i had done it to A new cam installed in it from 2,000rpm to 5,200rpm the stock was 2,000 to 5,000. New Accel performance distributor New 350 trubo Transmissions From a trubo 200 i think. And a new Computer chip. What i was like to know is do i really need the STUFF on the Exhaust manafolds or can i take them off and put on a set off headders from summit. And all so what i can do to make it a bit fast and funner. Thank you

 

what kind of stuff? i dont know what is attatched to the factory manifolds on an 82...my 83 had headers when i got it. if there is anything emission related, youll want to check with your local emissions regulations, if you have any, before removing things.

 

Yes its for my emissions and the car will not pass with out it. But i was looking for some headers and i cant find the headers that have the holes drilled im them for the emissions. If some one can hel me find them that will help me a lot. Thank you
