New gal from North Carolina

Welcome to the forum, all 350 chevy's are small blocks and as far as i know they do make a 427 small block. There is a big differance between a small block and a big block.

correct...it has to do with the dimensions of the block itself

I'm wondering if it wasn't a Pontiac 350 put in there.Anyways.....

Orocker I get down there every few years.I still have parents there that live near downtown Orlando in the Conway area.

Finally got it worked out.This is how I got her.Not bad for $300

welcome to ur new home. back then all pontiacs were "small block" they used the same block from 350 to 455.
