New gal from North Carolina
Hey to all.I just recently purchased a 86 camaro and can't wait to get to work on her!Thinking about putting an 383 stroker in her but still not sure yet.I'm looking forward to bringing this car back to life and figured I would need help along the way,so that's why I'm here! Thanks!
Oh and I'm not new to owning a camaro. My first car when I was 18 was an 87 with a 350 big block. So that's where the love of camaro's comes from!

I'll try to post some pics as soon as possible.
Now about the whole 350 big block thing.Since you said there was no such thing I decided to look around a little.Cause hell I don't know for sure.I was a 18 year old chick who was taking a guys word for it.I knew there were 350 small blocks so I figured hey why not big blocks.
Anyways,I've found the opinions go both ways.Mostly with what you say though.Although I found that one of the opinions was this:
Depending on whom you talk to though, there is an exception to this rule... Some people will call all blocks that have four bolt main bearing caps big blocks. Four bolt main bearing caps were usually reserved for the higher output engines. So, going by this, there can be a 350 small block, and a 350 big block, as this particular engine was manufactured with both two and four bolt main bearing cap designs. The outer dimension of the blocks are the same though.
I'm sure you're probably right though.I guess I just need to change it to I had an 87 with a 350 engine.
And thanks for the welcome!
