Default New forum member - 1967 RS/SS

Hi everyone - new forum member from Texas. Fulfilled a long-time dream by buying a 1967 RS/SS at auction a few weeks ago. Looking forward to learning more as part of this community.

I would upload a pic but perhaps I don't have upload privileges until I make the obliged 3 posts?

Welcome and congrats

It is easier to just start a photo bucket account and post the image links. After you upload to photobucket it will give you the code to post. There is no limits on pic size and you are almost unlimited in space.

The code looks like this [IMG]http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd308/DC_Gorn/My%2067%20Camaro/100_1009_zps0f8a5419.jpg[/FAK] If you replace the work FAK with IMG it would word like below.

What size are those tires? I like the fit.

Looks like a very nice restoration.

Thanks - I hope it is a decent restoration but I am new at all this so I'm not sure what I am looking at.

On the tires, I took the car to a mechanic this week and so I can't check but I will post back when it returns and let you know.

Relatedly, I feel I got lucky on what they found so far which was carb work needed, door hinge replacement, re-hang an exhaust pipe, replace blinker switch, replace blower switch on vintage air, replace Pitman arm, replace leaf springs, replace front calipers and of course replace fluids / filters. Better than I hoped for for buying an auction car nearly sight unseen.
