Hey guy's, i'm new here. I have a 83 Camaro project car that I am currently rebuilding. The car used to be a V6 but has had a lot of engine changes over the years. Now I am putting a 400 four bolt main small block-square decked and balanced, .568" lift, greater than 270 duration @.050 solid lifter cam (maybe run roller cam if I can find it),11 to 1 compression pistons, 202 intake 188 exhaust camel hump heads that have been fully ported and flowed-screw in studs-guide plates-and stud girdle, Tunnel ram intake with two 600 New Holley carbs-1/2" fuel line ran to 12 gallon fuel cell powered by Holley blue fuel pump, BEI II laser distributor, electric water pump, 2 1/2" tube hooker headers, shortened mopar 8 3/4 rear end with 411(Soon to be 5.13) gears-competition engineering three link suspension with extra adjustment link, 4800 stall speed converter, full race prepped turbo 350 transmission, line-lock, and just need to get the trans break. Car is tubed, caged just about the whole 9 yards. Painting it black with Ghost flames on it. Don't know of anything else to say. Ha Thanks for the Welcome!
I am in the process of sanding the body down and and taking the interior out to redo it and get some stuff for it I need like door panels ect.
These are the pics I have so far. I am going to reuse the current motor and then when something happens to it I am then going to eithe rebuild the whole motor or use a 454. I am using most of the money I have now for dressing the body up to make that look good. the motor only has about 2000 miles on it so I hope it will hold up. (fingers crossed). I only need a Oil Pan, Trans Pan, Gaskets and a few other things.
