NPR isn't total trash, but not a lot happens here, there's the occasional car meet, but it's just a bunch of ricers...and they don't appreciate if you show up with anything that can easily kick their a** and if it takes attention away for their over-modified "things"

?!?!?!?!? He cut the choke cable!?!??!?!? And then you had black smoke bad? OMG, he DID remember to secure the choke when the cable was cut didn't he? Otherwise the choke might close and then you'd have BLACK smoke from the extra gas!

Hmmm sounds like maybe you gave the boot to the WRONG problem!!! Hhahhahahahhahahaha

Rand...no he didn't cut the choke cable off...he cut the actual choke(the tower,the whole thing) off! He and the other mechanic that worked there just sawed the whole thing off...I just about had a heart attack!I don't think the smoke was from that because it had some exhaust problems anyways but they were already there when i bought the car...

Defender6, thanks...but I'm not so sure my 87 GMC Vandura (oh yeah it's sexy...NOT!) would make it up there, the transmissions about to crap out on me so I try to stay within my area for now...maybe I can bug a friend to take me up there, I'll let you know!
