I`m a newbie to these cars.Not a newbie to cars in general.I finally got my hands on the camaro I always wanted yesterday.It`s a `92 Z-28,5.7L TPI.It has MSD 6AL Ignition,NOS,Nitto 550R street slicks out back,airfoil.That`s all I`ve uncovered so far.I need all the advice and insight that I can learn on this thing cause she is my #1 Gal now.

Welcome to the forum and looks like a nice car. Do you plan on taking her to the track? I would also look for a fuel pressure regulator, under drive pulleys, exhaust work, and K&N air induction system. It seems like whoever owned the car had done some work to it to make it faster. I would also think that the rear end might have been changed. Have you taken it out on the highway to see what your RPMs are? Thats a great indicator of the gear.

I drove her home from Charlotte to Anderson SC,no problems.I ran about 70 MPH all the way and the tach read about 2 grand at that speed.It does have the K&N`s on it with some sort of ram air induction that goes in place of the factory fog lights,twin air scoops where the lights used to be.
