Hello everyone. My name is Greg and I am the proud new owner of a 96 v6 Camaro. I have been a mustang lover for year and owned a few fox bodies in the past. I recently needed a vehicle and just got a good deal on a camaro tonight. I have some work to do to her and I want to let you know in advance I'm gonna have a lot of questions. I know nothing about these cars.

Heres my first question:
1. The SGS seems to be stuck on, any clues as to what may be the problem. The light flickers on the dash. When accelerating you can tell its in second every time from a dead start.

 

best thing your can do it hook it up to and obd and see what code comes up. That would give you a good starting point
