Hi guys I'm just waiting on recieving my 96 z. I was pretty lucky that this guy came to my store (I manage a Valvoline here in Tempe AZ) for an oil change with his Z28 and I was telling him how I've been looking for a clean one like his for a few weeks and he says "what you wanna give me for it". I was like "3k " we agreed on 3200 hehe. Mot bad as he was the original owner and it has 128k on the clock. It's white with origan camaro wheels and all he's done he has reciepts for and he's only run mobil 1 in it since new. New T-top seals and the interior is MINT except friver seat typical rip because he was a big fat old guy lol. so anyways he's dropping it off after coming back from Cali this week. Funny thing is I talked him into getting a new fuel filter installed from my shop that day hahaha.
Plans are CAI/full slp headers and loudmouth exhaust for starters. Any things I should look for technically right off the bat?

 

ask him if its the factory opti spark and water pump... those tend to go bad a lot...

 

Oh, I thought that the optispark was on earlier models.
