I was cruising down the highway running about 130ish coming around a slight bend and there he was, a county sheriff parked in a speed trap area. Pretty sure he was just killing time because my Valentine 1 didn't so much as make a peep. I don't know if you guys have encountered similar situations but for me I get that adrenaline burn andafeeling like you're falling when **** like this happens. Anyway, I go zipping past him and just push that pedal to the floor to put as much distance between him and me as possible. I kept looking but never even saw him begin to come after me. Don't know if he even bothered to try but man, what a day. I think I'll be keeping my car out of site except when absolutely necessary for the next week or so.

 

dude i would be keepin that car out of site for the next 2 or more weeks. lol idk if the cars can go past 120 i don't think they even try.

 

lmfao, i get the same damn thing, whether its going 120 or going 15 over, and ill come up on a cop, and my radar wont even make a noise, * i call her my lil gas station finder, lol, if im runnin low on gas and she goes off, im either in luck and near a gas station, or out of luck and gettin pulled[8D]

 

Personally I wouldn't worry about it. He didn't come after you and he didn't show up to your house so he doesn't know who it would be. Without him getting a plate number he don't have anything on you. However if you're like me and everyone knows your car in the county and you know the cops personally I would just obey the speed limit for awhile and they'll leave ya alone. After I got called in for street racing I had a county and a state boy follow me for around seven miles...they wouldnt pass no matter how slow i went even in passing zones...the whole time my radar is going off but they didn't pull me over because they didn't have a reason. Even tho the county boy just told me to quit racing haha....but i wouldn't worry about it too much man you should be alright :-)

 

Hahaha. I feel you with that adrenaline rush. I always speed up if there is a cop going the opposite way and I'm speeding. I have a radar detector but don't use it because its not a V1. I love those things though. My brother has one and so does my dad. As for your case I would leave my car in the garage for a while. Although Nomadic does make a good point, if it were me, I would leave it at home for a while just to be on the safe side.

 

Yeah, dont worry about it.. he cant say "I saw you speeding the other day.. i have no evidence.. but heres a ticket"

 

everyone does have a good point. I especally agree with Nomadic too. I live in a very small county and everyone knows my car and my truck so that is not good for me. that is kinda why my car is sittin in the garage now. lol

 

You should be ok now. And the crown Vics are limited at like 125.

 

that reminds me. what kind of cop cars do you guys have around your area?
