So there I was, happy as can be, driving my "VolksRod" (aka 1972 VW Beetle with fiberglass '37 Ford front grill, 10" beam extension, disc brakes, mild performance motor, freewayflier transaxle, etc.etc.etc.) and it starts running poorly.. turns out the exhaust I had bought and installed in November wasn't sealing properly and caused a head to over heat and crack, potentially also doing internal damage.
I decide it's time to make my baby a weekend warrior and get something a little more reliable for daily driving and pick up a 1996 Camaro with a clean carfax report.

Bought this POS on febuary 29th and it's been in the shop almost as much as I've driven it.

I'm more of a vintage car guy, so I understand the basic principles of engines and how they work, but you star throwing in all this electronic crap and I start getting lost..

oh wait, the intro is supposed to be about me.. well, i'm just your average "tattooed, chain-smoking, alcoholic Sailor." Born and raised in california, Originally from the SF Bay Area, living in San Diego now. I dig old school customs, tattoos with meaning, and vintage pin ups.

Played ice hockey for 13 years as a kid and trying to get back into it but haven't been able to get to the rink for pick up more than twice yet.

other than work, sleep, and hanging out with friends, there's really not much more to me.
