hi my name is dave iam 20 years old frompembroke,ma and i have been around cars my whole life and have been inlove with the camaro from the age of5 when me and my dad built one together...needless to say we finished the car about 4 years ago and 3 days later it got stolen so i became a import car guy...even though i allways loved camaros the insurance and high gas prices drove me away into imports but a few years later and some lessons learned its time i step up and build a camaro and thats why iam here...i hope people dont hate on me cause i like imports...

Welcome Dave, glad you saw the light and are back in the world of domestic muscle cars. Did you guys ever catch whoever stole the Camaro you and your dad built? What gen are you going with for your project?

 

ya we cought him about 2 weeks later and we got the car back or should i say what was left of it the only thing left on the car that was still usable was the front clip when thay took the car thay took it for a nice joy ride in grovten nh which is about 6 hrs from were i live and thay slid around a courner and backed into a pole and destroyed the car and when that happend it took the drive shaft and smashed it tru the tranny and then the trany flexed which in the end cracked the block so nothing was worth taking out..but besides all the not so wonderful child hood memories...i have decided to build a 3rdgen like me and my dads but its hard to find one with a decent body i dont have alot of money rite now so iam looking for a 6 banger and i was planning on building a 383..and my friend hase a complete twin turbo setup for o sbc so i wana make the best of both worlds..ill be registered as a 6banger but will have the heart of a drag car and still get decent gas mileage on the street.......do you know of any one with a 3rd gen for sale?

 

my cuz has a 3rd gen 2.8. is a 86. dunno if he wants to sell it though. also dont know if your interested, it has been teboned, but is fixed.

thanks...thair amzing for what thay are i own a 12sec daily driver and thairs nothing like filling my gas tank 1 a week,paying 1000 bucks a yr on insurance and o ya .........smoking every mustang that i can find..(i hate mustangs thair like belly buttons..every ones got one)..but its time to man up and build a 3rd gen!!!!!!!!

 

3rd gen? hell yes.... and poo on mustangs, you are completely right, they are everywhere! its rediculous.... I was actually gonna get a Bimmer.... but I never beleived in love at first sight until I met my Camaro! I saw it and I knew I had to make it mine haha
