I have a 350 TPI engine and i was going 2 rebuild it and i wanted 2 get a bigger cam but not to big and i dont know what cam to get because i dont know alot about cams and i know if u get a bigger cam u have 2 change the valve springs but i just had my heads rebuilt not 2 long ago so i just want a cam 2 go with my stock heads that i had port and polished

 

first thing is you need to decide what rpm range you want your power band to be in. Then buy a cam that will give power where that is. Remember also that the intake affects where the power band can be as well so make sure you plan for it's rev range too.
