$5500 is what it was posted for.
The car is bone stock except the transmission is geared lower so that it gets more torque in the first few gears, or something like that..

I'm talking to the owner about negotiating pricing, I am a college student so i don't have that much money.

 

No one switched the truck Vortec V8 into a 2000 Camaro. The cost and work involved would be massive. It its stock form the Truck engine is to tall to fit. Not to mention the computer wiring nightmare going from a LS1 to a truck engine would cause. Is it possible? yes but it would either take one very dumb and skilled shade tree mechinic/fabricator/Sparky/machinest or a boat load of money.

 

Hehe, what can I say? I was skeptical at the price it was at.
