Greetings from the Low Country!
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to both the Camaro scene, and I haven't used any forums in a long time, so please be patient with me. I'm joining because I've finally gotten to the point in my life where I can get my (reasonably affordable) dream car, the 1st Gen Camaro. I recently retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years, and I now work in logistics. Towards the end of the year, I plan on getting a semi-restored Camaro. I want to work on my own car; however, I don't have all the tools like welders and such. I need something with metal work already done. I look forward to getting some insight from all of you subject matter experts.
Respectfully,
Mike

You said affordable and first gen in the same sentence!
Welcome aboard, I had a '69 for 14 years, never should have let it go but that was almost 30 years ago before they became gold plated.
Good luck and let us know what you find.
