Hello, new guy from colorado
hi there, my name is ryan, and to be totally honest i don't own a camaro.... yet!
ever since i was able to love cars, i have lived next to auto families. and when it finally came time to get my first car i ended up getting a practical toyota echo because it was affordable, low upkeep, very low miles and all, so it was perfect since i have been a delivery driver forever.
now i am 20 years old, with only a few months shy of 21, and only a year away from leaving college, so my soon to be roomate and i have been thinking of what we can do that will be out of this world and since she needs a car and i have wanted to work on a muscle car we decided thats what we should do.
so the question is what car should we get, can we afford it, how to go about this... and all i can think of is the camaro that used to sit in my neighbors driveway until the dad would come out, start her up, rev.. and take off.
and now i am here because i decided on a camaro. only problem now is if i can/how i will be able to afford this, and how to go about this. because another sad truth is i have very little car smarts. i plan on taking her back to my other neighbors for help and getting manuals and what not. but in all honesty i need some help.
so i have come to ya'll looking for help on how to do this.
thanks,
ryan

Hey man, welcome to the forum. For starters, sounds like your kinda going to be looking for something that you can build on a small budget. It sounds like your looking for something that's already running. I would suggest a good 3rd gen or 4th gen, you can pick those up fairly resonable. You might be able to find a good 2nd gen, but I would think that if it's not in that good of condition then you're going to be unable to afford to fix it up. But either way, just ask and we'll help you out with whatever we can. Again, welcome.
