Garage find Z28 HO
1984 Z28 HO with 189 original miles. Settling an estate for my brother-in-law who recently passed. He apparently purchased two Z28’s in 1984, one standard and the other a high output. The high output car also has leather interior which was not offered as a standard. The other Z28 has 15,600 miles. Neither car has been started in 20+ years. They were both under car covers. Looking for recommendations on how to sell them. Don’t want to restore them to running order or should I spend the money to get them running? Thanks

Call an auction house. Get their advise. IMO most collectors would want to see the cars as is where is and pick them up without you touching them. Show car guys want everything done a certain way, unless you can prove anything you did was to their liking it will devalue it.
If you decide to get them running it should be done by someone the auction house advises and moved in a enclosed trailer. You may want to think about some real insurance before you let anyone know where it is at. Again the auction house will give you an idea of a insurance point. 50 ish for the super low miles one I would think. I have been out of the game awhile.

Thanks for the reply. I wish my brother-in-law would have kept these two cars running. The Z28 HO had the show room 1984 brochure on the passenger seat. The car is a time capsule. The other Z28 with 15k miles is also really nice.
