I purchased a 97 z28 about 5 months ago. m6, T-tops, and a few simple modifications. It has 60,xxx miles, I picked it up for about 5,700. I have only drove the vehicle about 150 miles since owning it but no problems yet!

If your Z28 has only 120,000 on it, If it was properly maintained it should have alot of life left in it. Does the previous owner have any maintanence records? Proof showing services done?? As far as longevity, and reliability... My z28 has 205,000+ miles on it. its a 1998. The transmission blew a throwout bearing at 177,000, the rear end needed to be rebuilt at 175,000 and the clutch at 95,000. I think the clutch went bad because the original owner had it for the first 40,000 miles and she didnt drive it properly...My uncle bought it and had it from 40k to 186k and when he put the tranny in at 177k, th clutch still looked new, so if it has been driven by someone who knows how to not slip the clutch all day long you should be good there. The LS1 lasts a long time if properly cared for, like mine. The only major problem my uncle had was the transmission and rear end. but that was at about 170,000 miles. Id say youre in good shape. It has to be worth about $5,000, thats a little low in my opinion. If the interior is good, doors arent all rattling loose, and the windows arent flopping all over, no rips in the seats, then Maybe $6,000!

thanks guys im gonna be here from now on because i did bought the car and im in love with it already i will change the fluids (oil+coolant) but on the coolant should i drain and fill or do a full flush by a pressure mashine

I know my z28 says it has a special coolant filling procedure, I havnt done it. It was done at a shop when i had it in there for other stuff. I doubt you need to pressurize it. Just drain the radiator, and both block drains if you can get to them. flush the radiator, and refil with 50/50 dex cool
