Default Funny story

at the age of 16 my dad brought home a 69 camaro , never really liked the thing and was really into the 97/98 Mitsu eclipse GSX ... fastfoward to age 18 i had begun to understand what the car was and what nostalgia it carried. By age 21 i began hounding him to sell it to me and after 2 years of going back and forth he folded. Im now 23 and just came into possesion of a 69 Camaro today 3/24/08 . Now im not 100% as to which companies are better for performance (im familiar with most of the major names). SO in order for me to restore this camaro "tastefully" i hope you guys can help me so this car gets done right . TIA

Welcome to the forums. Post up some pic's of that 1st gen!

Check out www.rickscamaro.com or www.classicindustries.com for the parts.

Also, there is a ton of knowledgable members lurking in the 1st gen section.

EDIT: I fixed the link for ricks.

Not too bad. You have a little work ahead though. The seats are actually in very good condition considering. Nice ride bro.

wow, paint can use work but the leather is beautiful, and original leather is one of the things that makes those cars valuable
