this is on my 1988 monte carlo, 350 sbc with fast burn heads, nice cam. bought one of the new 500 series steering box CCP CLASSIC PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS, developed a leak in the casting, sprayed fluid all over motor compartment and headers, surprised i didn't catch on fire. cost me 100.00 to trailer car home, 48.00 shipping the defective unit back, bought new unit so i could use my car, cost 38.00 shipping, 10.00 for cleaner, 10.00 ps fluid, comes out to be it cost me 196.00 plus for their lack of quality control. it took a month from bad unit, send box, them to look at, yes defective, but you are out shipping and all the other cost. pain to clean up almost a quart of fluid all over the engine compartment. i live in michigan we only get four or five months to drive our cars.
