Default Clutch Push Rod Problem '85

The push rod from my hydraulic clutch keeps slipping off of my clutch pedal, it has done it 3 times over the last 2 months and it is quite a pain to get the stupid thing reattached. Does anyone know if there is a part that is supposed to attach to the pedal to keep in in place(a bolt or something)? I went by an auto part store and they had no idea

You're missing the bushing/retainer, or part of it's there but broken. Part #14091384: 83 92 Camaro Firebird 5 Speed Clutch Pedal Arm Bracket Retainer Clip Bushing | eBay
You should be able to get one from your local GM dealer, but they may have to order it.

Thank you for your help Camaro 69, I will give that a try. I went to auto store today after cutting the heck out of my hand reattaching it again, they had no clue what to look for. Whoever owned the car before me just held it on with electrical tape; hate seeing things jerry-rigged like that!
