camaros forever
I got my first camaro as a high school graduation present. It was a 1969 camaro that was red with red interior with a 300 hp 350 and 3 speed on the floor. I loved that car and owned it for about 12 years before I let it go in the early 90's. I always wanted to replace that car and was finaly able to in 2004. However, the car I found was a 1967 blue on blue car with the original drivetrain and 327/210 hp and powerglide. But, blue just isn't my color and I did not want to change the color. So I just packed the car away in the garage for the time being. A year or so later I found the car to replace my blue camaro. The new camaro was a red on red with black vinal top 1967 camaro. This car is increbable, it still sports the original paint, vinal top, drivetrain, tires, chaulk marks, protect o plate, etc. Its just a bone stock standard camaro but I have never seen a car 41 years old this original with zero rust and original paint. When I say zero rust I mean it does not even have surface rust on the floors or anywhere. I have had this car for a coulpe of years now and I have just packed it away in the garage and yesterday I pushed it out of the garage, turned the key and it fired up after the gas made it to the carb. It runs a little ruff but that could be expected for a car that was last registered 23 years ago and only has 26,000 miles on the car. Unbelievable. Check it out.
