it might just be a bad sending unit...idk if its the same on the newer motors but it should be like on the driver side of the distributer liek right next to it....i thin they leak when they go abd si maby look for some oil or somthin..idk i just replaced mine with an aftermarket gauge were you run a small oil line stright to it...cuz the sending unit i ahd was leaking and wasnt hooked to nothing...but like it should ahve a wire that goes from the top of it to the guage
