another new person
hey guys, i've been here for a few days, and i figured i would let you all know a little about me, and what i have.
let's start out with my car. it's a 1979 Camaro Berlinetta, 305, automatic. it's in fairly good shape, only one major rust spot on the driver side front quarter panel. the rest of the rust is surface, and is sanded off now. Bondo and paint will finish off the exterior. Slot-Mags will be the wheels i'm going to put on it, with some cheap low-pro fronts, and BF-goodrich Radial T/A rears, since they are fairly priced... anyone know of any other wide tires for a 14" rim?
i have the interior stripped down (besides the dash, i didn't see the need in taking that out). all of the carpet is out, seats are out, headliner is gone. i'll be putting in new carpet, i might put a headliner in if i can find one for a reasonable price. the same with all of the crappy plastic/fiberglass mouldings around the doors (all need to be replaced, or something else made). The tranny needs to be rebuilt, engine runs.
thats about it for the work on the car, now i'll tell you about myself.
i'm 17, in high school, i'm an average kid, i like the outdoors like hunting, fishing, fourwheelin(atv's), trucks, and of course fixing up classic cars. this camaro is my first project, and i hope to do many more in the future.
i'll get some pics up later.

RE: another new person
yeah, it'll be a fun project, and it wont take much to get it done either. i just have to set some time aside to work on it, and to generate some funds(money) to do the needed jobs on it.
