I don't know this guy

Looks like he started the project back in 2003. Back when an 02 SS was worth 30K. It would be real hard to justify 1000 hours worth of work to clone a car you can buy for 6K.

Ya I was a little unclear on what I ment. I ment to say you can get an LS1 camaro and make it into a SS clone for less then converting your 95. Or you can buy one with a damaged engine. It will be much easier to repair a car then it will be to swap over every wiring harness and the dash of the car.

But when you only use one part (The shell) off your car is really the same car? When 90% of the parts that make up your finished car came from a different car anyway why not start with a different car? I think a lot of guys aim too high for projects like this. Most of the people that have the skill and tools to pull off a project like this off do not come here and ask for advice. Lets face it, there are a lot of pros out there that would have a tuff time with this project in a fully equipped shop.

But buying a 98 with a that needs a new fender and a set of head gaskets is a project most guys that have the drive can do. Addon a nice paint job and the SS clone stuff your where you want to be. If you want you can buy a manual to take you step by step thru all the repairs. That is a realistic project with a chance that your finish car would be worth more then the money spent. I know for 95% of the people out there I am right. 1989fbody could very well be one of the 5% If he is he will ignore this anyway

gorn u are right i appreciate everybodys input to but i am 16 just bought my lt1 camaro, ls1s around here are high mileage and expensive 98 ls1 110,000 miles on it 6500 thats crazy when i have a 1995 6speed lt1 with 123,769 and i paid 4000
i also live by "ITS NOT WHAT YOU BUY ITS WHAT YOU BUILD''
It would be pretty cool to have 2002 ss camaro clone with a 1995 z28 camaro title
