Just joined the forum. I am 49 yrs. old and am definately old skool motorhead. I have an 89 IROC (my fourth camaro, 74 Camaro, 74 Z28, 71 Camaro, now this one) and found your site because I'm not much of an electronics guy. I needed answers and your site has given some to me. Thanks. Hopefully I can help someone in return.

My Camaro... 5.7 TPI IROC. Chassis and interior currently stock (car is a work in progress, always looking to make it better). The project I just finished was the engine. I just completed a complete rebuild of the engine. Engine was completely re machined (heads, crank, block) and I used .030 Hypereutectic pistons, Comp Cams TPI cam, TPI Chips ECM chip. I also installed a 3" exhaust to give it that throaty rumble.

I purchased the car with my son. When he was 16, he wanted a Z28 so he and I went halves on the car (he couldn't afford it himself) with the understanding that when he wanted a new car I would buy him out. He drove it for 2 years and then bought a new car. I bought him out and have been gradually restoreing it ever since.

I'll try to get some pictures for you all when I get a chance. Til then, here is an old picture from 3 years ago after I first purchased the car for my son to drive.



I'm currently trying to optimize the fuel system. Which is how I found this forum. Thanks for all the help and I look forward to watching the site on a semi regular basis.
