Default 94 Camaro Z-28

Hello All,

Nice to be here.

I just bought a 94 Z-28 with automatic and t-tops. I was hoping for the manual, but after looking over half a dozen cars this was definitely the best one for the price. It needs some mechanical tlc, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. My first car was an 88 V-6, and I have plenty of fond memories of that car, so I'm hoping I can bring this one back to life. I have a good-sized list of repairs that I will be working through over the next couple weeks, which is the main reason I sought out the forum. I'll through some pics up in a day or two. The wife has the camera filled with pictures of our kids. She should know better than to clog up the camera with the kids when I buy a new car. j/k.

Thanks all. There is a lot of good info here. I just ordered a new Opti-Spark last night, and picked up a new AC compressor from the AutoZone. I am hoping to get the opti-spark in this weekend, so I can drive the car again. It breaks up too much to be reliable for driving back and forth to work. I'm stuck in my Neon for at least another week.

There's nothing wrong with a Neon. I have a 02 neon SXT and I love driving it. The only thing that I wish it had was t tops... But, the power moon roof works great too!

My Neon is my daily driver and then I get out my 06 Ford F.150 Crew Cab 4x4, when the wheather gets nasty. My 93 Z is my sunny fun cruiser.
