Hello. I have a 79 camaro and I have determibed that my standard washer pump (low-high and push for fluid) was not working. The wiper motor functions properly with low, high and it parks when switched off. I purchased a new washer pump assembly and installed and it is squirtting fluid when I push the button on the dash. Only problem is it does not stop pumping fluid and the wiper motor does not enter the “park” position after 3 or 4 wipes. It continually squirts and continually wipes unless I turn the switch off on the dash myself. Any ideas why the pump will not stop squirtig fluid?
