30 year dream comes true!
Picking up the new ride! 30 year dream come true.
Not a real RS/SS
New to this forum, but been using others for different vehicles over the years. Well I finally own a 1st Gen Camaro. Test drive a white 67 30 Year’s ago but couldn’t get it. This week I finally bought a 67! Far from perfect, but looks REAL good. Plenty of plans, clean up, and upgrades in mind, so gonna need the forum’s help. Thanks for being here, and looking forward to figuring it out.

Nice looking 67. If you get a chance could you list the tire sizes. I like the stance. Does the suspension appear stock?
Have you had the chance to decode the cowl tag to see the original factory configuration? 67 is the only years that has all the factory option stamped into the cowl tag.

I have not checked the cowl plate. Thanks for the reminder, I should see what it has to say.
It has a "built" 350. Seller claimed 475hp but I seriously doubt it. Maybe 275 based on what little I've driven it thus far?!? Throttle linkage, aka coat hanger, was rigged so half-assed that it wouldn't allow enough range of motion to get into the secondaries. It does have the nice aluminum heads and intake, so once I get it dialed in, maybe it will be closer to 375hp. I'm going to check compression ratio soon to try to get some idea what's going on inside. Seems to run fine on pump gas so not expecting anything too crazy.
Rear side marker: you saw that too ehh? LOL They are wired in and functional! I can only speculate '68 panels were installed during the restoration (3 yrs ago). I would have had the markers removed to stick to the '67 look, but no plans to touch anything paint or body wise for now. The car came from Illinois in 2010 so I imagine there would have been a ton or rust to cut out.

As for the cowl tag, doesn't have one. Much of the sheet metal looks to have been replaced, including the firewall. At the very least, it was striped an repainted a few years ago.
The suspension looks mostly stock. has a few leafs in the rear.
Tires are 215/65-15 (F), 235/60-15 (Rear).
