"Gorack" - LOL, I have a couple friends who are of the opinion that "IF" it is truly numbers matching that my son should just flip it. I don't think that's going to happen. This is his 2nd Camaro, he had a 69 in High School that he restored. He's always loved the 1st gen's. He happens to be an AF Pilot starting his training at Vance, AFB and a graduate with a degree in Mech. Engineering. Gives you an idea of what he likes, Speed, Power and tinkering.

"burnt68" - We are still trying to figure out the entire history of the car. Not exactly certain if the hood as shown is original equipment. If my understanding is correct a straight 67 RS should not have had that hood? But if it is an RS/SS then that hood would have been appropriate.

The car is on a hauler headed east right now. My son is competing in the Lake Placid Ironman comp. this weekend and the car shows up early next week. Should be an exciting couple of weeks ahead.
