2000 Camaro
Hey ya'll,
I am brand new to the forums and I've got a 2000 3.8l v6 Camaro with 20,500 miles on it. It is all stock, and was thinking of a couple ideas to start modding. I know an air filter is pretty cheap and a usual starting point, but I've heard the filter on the 2000s are pretty good already and don't really need an upgrade. Anyways lemme know your thoughts. Thanks.

welcome to the forum. yes the air intake on your car is good and you will probly mod it later but the gain is minimal. like 7 hp. a good cat back exhaust is one that you get little better return on. auto or manual trans? is the rearend a posi? disk brakes all around? i think the 2000 base is but not sure. enjoy

you will want to look at the slp air intake when the time comes. they are not that cheap. you can have it tuned at pcmforless and get more power and most likely better mpg. http://www.pcmforless.com/index.php?...per&Itemid=313
