Default 1988 limited edition camaro is it rare

Got a 1988 limited edition camaro I was about to start to make a drag car out of it. But someone told me they only made 4 limited edition models in 1988 but they were regular 305 camaros with t-tops and the limited edition package. Is this true if so how much would it be worth I might sell it if not I'll make a drag car out of it. It is all original number matching. I just don't want to start cutting into it then find out that it is rare and it was worth more than I thought.

I'd do some more research for sure but rare and valuable aren't always the same thing. '88 Camaros aren't real valuable at this point but 3rd gens are coming up in value some, maybe someday they will take a big jump the way late 2rd gens are starting to now and early 2nd gens already have.
At this point I don't see any big money out of an '88 305 car rare or not but do your homework to be sure.

Default Thanks still digging for info on the 88 limited edition camaro

I have only found two articles on the camaro searching through the internet so far. Can't find anything else about it. I will keep searching.
