im 18 and just got a 95 3.4l camaro a few months ago. ill have some pics up and stuff once i figure out all that camaro forums has to offer. the only regret i have about my camaro is i wish knew more about them and the different engine sizes cause i dont think i would have purchased the 3.4l. its not the slowest thing but deff not the fastest, the 3.8l would have been nice. i recently just got a magnaflow cat back exhuast system and a high flow cat. its sounds nice. thats about it for me. my signature is a picture of my car on my myspace.

First off, all cars are like that, the actual horsepower put to the wheels is less than advertised (drivetrain eats hp). 3.8 cars get 160-170 to the wheels...every car does not get the full amount of hp it has to the wheels.

CAI...i'd say maybe under 5 rwhp depending on the one you get

every 'how much hp did i gain' is a ballpark, it depends on the car

 

thanks dude. besides cold air intake is there any other things i can do that arent real expensive that might add hp or help my car perform better. ? my friend has a 3.8l and it kicks my butt all the time. haha hes got exhuast intake ignition and some other things. its alot easier to find mods for the 3.8l than it is for the 3.4l ive found.

Also, catco 6006 on ebay for a high flow cat, and i'd get a CAI on ebay as well, make sure its a good one tho (lots of cheap ones on ebay you have to sort through)

 

Nice camaro.. I got mine almost a year and a half ago, i love it and wouldnt trade it for anything.. I didnt know muchabout camaros when i got mine, buthaving one is the best way to learn about them..but if i knew more about them i would of went with a V8.. but its alright cuz i love my V6..
